Inform owner of change

You can inform the model owner of the model changes you have made. The process owner is automatically determined by the attribute Person responsible.

Prerequisite

You have the ARIS Connect Viewer and Contribution license privileges, or the ARIS Connect Designer license privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. If the Group tree is not visible, click the arrow in the middle on the left side to show it.

  3. Navigate to the items and make the relevant changes.

  4. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  5. Click Start a flow Start in the row of the Inform owner of change process. The process is started.

  6. Insert a change description.

  7. Click Submit. The Information dialog opens.

  8. Enable the Do not show this message again check box if you do not want to be informed by the dialog when executing the mini workflow more than once during the current session.

  9. Click OK.

The person responsible for the model receives an e-mail containing the information you entered. If the process owner submits the human task, you will be informed via e-mail.

This workflow is a part of ARIS. It can be customized if required. For example, you can change e-mail texts, add notifications, make changes to dialogs. The integration of complex workflows (standard RCM, change management) requires the YCSPG or the YDCPG ARIS server license extension pack: Process Governance.

Alternatively, you can use Flow templates to define and manage workflows.
