Compare model versions
You can allow model comparison of versions of a database or of models between different databases. If the model comparison is enabled in your configuration set and is allowed for the database, you can visually compare model versions of one database or of model versions stored in different databases.
You can specify that models can be compared within a single database or across multiple databases.
Prerequisite
You have the Publishing administrator function privilege.
The database in use is published, versionable, and contains versions.
Open the Publication settings. All available databases are displayed.
Move the mouse pointer over the row of the database for which you want to allow model comparison.
Click
Edit. The database settings panel is displayed.
Activate Comparison enabled.
Under Database, select the database you want to use for the model comparison.
Under Version, select the version you want to use.
Click Apply.
You have defined with which version models of which database the current models of the current database can be compared. Users can compare model versions in the fact sheet Diagram using Model comparison.
In versionable databases you can compare models with their versions.
