Generate report

A report is a script that can be applied to similar database content. You can use a report, for example, to collect database content and group it according to specific aspects, output the relationships between database elements, generate comparison tables, or display multiple uses of database items. You can also use reports to change database content, such as entering attribute values or correcting the layout of models.

You can generate reports in the repository or in the modeling component for the selected objects or the open model.

You can start various reports in Published content. Depending on the selected elements, reports are offered that provide a plausible evaluation for this context.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. If the Group tree is not visible, click the arrow in the middle on the left side to show it.

  3. Navigate to the relevant group.

  4. Select the model for which you want to create a report.

  5. Activate the Diagram fact sheet.

  6. Click Reports Reports. The Reports bar opens.

  7. Select a report. If you want to display a report description, move the mouse pointer over the name of the report in the drop-down list.

  8. Select an output format.

  9. If a report can be parameterized, the Report parameters field is displayed. Select the parameter with which you want to run the report.

  10. Click Start. Depending on the selected report, a dialog with options is displayed. Specify your settings and click OK. The report is generated and the result is listed in the Reports bar.

  11. Click Download Download. Depending on your browser settings, you can specify the download folder or the result is downloaded in the default download folder.

You can download the result later by clicking Download Download in the Reports bar.
