Enterprise Search
Use the Enterprise Search to find published content such as models. To optimize the search results, you can filter the search results, and create search favorites. The Enterprise Search finds elements for which you have at least read privileges.
If more than one database is provided, select the database to be used for the search.
Enter your search term into the
Search field at the top of the screen. When you start entering the term, a list of search suggestions is displayed and is continuously updated as you complete the term.
Press Enter if you want to search for all items in fact sheets, models, and linked documents that contain the search term you entered. Alternatively, click a term in the search suggestion list. The items found are listed in the Search area.
Click the row of an item found to display the Details bar.
Search results are ranked based on hit accuracy with each hit being highlighted. A symbol indicates if a search result is a document, a
model, an
object, or a
group. To open the fact sheets for an item, click the name of the item.
Depending on your license/privilege, you can open the item in the repository. To do so, click More >
Open in repository.
Search using a GUID
Enter the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) of a model or object into the
Search field at the top of the screen and press Enter.
The corresponding model or object is displayed in the Search area. Each model or object has exactly one GUID and the search always results in exactly one hit.
